How Can The Fall Help You Reset?

The leaves are beginning to change colors.

Leaves drop and limbs go bare.

Fall is a time of letting go.  Time to go within.

Fall is a time to release that which no longer serves you.  Letting go of worries or old stories that keep you stuck or anxious.  Letting go of wishing things were different.

What habits do you have that keep you upset that you could let go of?  Like watching the news, sitting on the couch watching endless tv, or eating too much sugar?

Let fall remind you it’s a time to take inventory, a time to see what no longer serves you, and let it go.

Following the cycles of the seasons can help you up your energy, thrive in new ways.

As Danielle LaPorte says, “Love the you that you out grew.”  Who is that?  What is that?

Each season offers its gifts.

Enjoy what is before you.

Summer was a time of blossoming, more light, new growth.  Now fall is transitioning to shorter days and it’s time to become more dormant.

Let nature guide you.

Let nature inspire you.

How could a reset today help you lighten your load?

Follow the seasons. Life could be lighter and brighter.  You wouldn’t hold on to so much.  You could trust life to bring you just what you need.  Your mind, body and spirit would be healthier and freer.

Use the seasons to feel the ebb and flow of life.  Letting go of one while bringing in the new.

Holding on to the past limits your future.  You don’t allow yourself to fully take in what is before you.  You view life from what you just experienced.  Your vision is clouded.

I just bought a new children’s book for our grandkids, “The Very Last Leaf” by Stef Wade.  The last leaf is afraid to fall. But he finally let go and floated gently to the pile below.

How can you let go and trust you will be fine without the stuff or the emotional stress of believing you have to do it the same as you have for years?

What if instead you allowed yourself to enjoy this fall?  See its purpose and relate it to your life.  Let go of the burdens of the past and enjoy the freshness and changes of this season.

“There is a saying that depression is living in the past, anxiety is worrying about the future, and true contentment is living in the present.”

Change is here.

This fall is unlike any we’ve experienced.  A life full of uncertainty – pandemic, racial protests, voting concerns and worry about your wellness.

Don’t wish it were different.  You get more of it, more of what you don’t want.  Think about the possibilities.  Keep your energy up,  and live your life on the higher frequencies.

Allow this transition to align with your body.  It’s time to slow down, time to go within.  Spend more time relaxing and meditating.  Feng Shui.  Focus on what you want.

Let the fall help you reset to your Highest and Greatest Self by enjoying the gifts it offers.
