How Could You Use Today To Look For Things To Feel Good About?

 

Think about 10 things you love and appreciate about your life. Will they roll off your tongue right now?

 

Notice how you feel.

 

Create your day. Set your intention to notice all the good in your life and around you.

 

Decide that you will count your blessings when you wake up before you put your feet on the floor. Like you had a bed to sleep in, a warm house and are safe.

 

Feel how good that starts off your day.

 

As you take the next step to create your day, shift your focus from all the things you HAVE to do to how GOOD it feels to have a job to go to or a friend to visit.

 

Savor those things.

 

Feel the difference in how you perceive something makes.

 

Your attitude matters.

 

As a Simon and Garfield tune says, “Slow down, you move too fast; You gotta make the morning last. Just kicking down the cobblestones. Looking for fun. And feeling groovy.”

 

What you focus on, you receive more of in your life. Focus on the GOOD.  

 

Abraham-Hicks says it so well, “Milk every moment for all the pleasure you can get from it. When you say, It is my dominant intent to look for things that feel good today. No matter where Im going, no matter what Im doing, no matter who Im doing it with, it is my dominant intent to look for what Im wanting to see, to look for things that feel good,” and the more you develop the habit of that kind of vibration—the more the Universe understands that thats who you are! And so, the more you have access only to those kinds of things!”

 

People are feeling stressed and on edge.  

 

If you feel out of control, how can you take this as an opportunity to stop and honor yourself? Honor what you are feeling. Acknowledge it. What is your body needing? Listen to it.

 

Shift how you are seeing your situation. Ask, “What is the GOOD in this I am not seeing?” Your body will love you for it.

 

Change your focus. You will receive an answer on a higher frequency than staying in the problem of feeling stressed and overwhelmed. You will be moving away from a stressful situation IF YOU LISTEN to the answers that come to you.

 

Then notice who you are listening to – your ego – I can’t slow down, I have to do this, or Spirit who asks you to see what the good is in this?

 

Pay attention to the voice you are feeding.

 

God always wants to add more goodness, love, and joy to your life. It might not look like it at the time, but if you trust and follow the messages, you will feel more goodness in your life. It will be lighter on the other side.

 

You must decide on who you are willing to follow. On what your focus is. Are you choosing lower-level energies things or Higher Self guidance?

 

It seems so simple to say look for the good. But, as I look at how far I’ve come and grown in this area, it is a great joy. Before I always wanted to achieve, so it was hard to find the good because it was never enough. I wanted more. But, today, what I know is it is okay to desire more, but focus on being grateful where you are and celebrating all you’ve done and where you are. Find the good and enjoy it all—no need to be the judge and the condemner. There is always more to do, be and have.
