I hear too many people complaining about the circumstances surrounding their lives. Most people want more peace and joy because life has become too busy, too stressful and too negative.
Note that whenever there is a gap between what you are capable of being and what you are doing at any point, you will experience discontent, anxiety and depression. Life has a way of getting your attention. Use it to get you back on course to a more loving, peaceful life.
At some point, you have to decide that you no longer want to suffer, be dragged down. You must be willing to change things so you can have the happiness and life you desire.

Yes, life happens. There’s interruptions, mishaps and pain. People make decisions you don’t like, people get sick and people die.

What I do know is I pay attention to how I feel. I use my emotional guidance system. And, most of the time I can shift my energy to a higher vibration and get out of those negative thoughts and feelings pretty quickly. I am determined to live in peace and joy.

Where is the discontent or frustration? Spend less time with people who drain your energy. What are you listening to - TV, radio, social media? Is it uplifting or negative? What are you reading - newspapers, books? Are these sources filling you up with peace and joy? If not, choose differently.
A pilot can shift his navigation path by 1% and end up in a totally different destination. It is the same way with you. You have a choice. Practice making small changes at first. They can shift the direction of your life.
Start with 1% each day. Begin backing off from the quantity of time and sources that bring you discontent.
Only listen or read the news for headlines.
Choose more peace and joy. Choose more again and again.
Look for the good in the situations. Focus more energy on that.
