Do You Catch Yourself Being More Of A Love Finder Rather Than A Fault Finder?

Love makes the world go round.

Love is what you seek to know, be and have.

The more you love yourself, the more you can love others. You can see past their differences, their idiosyncrasies that might otherwise trigger you. Differences are there to heal you, and help you become more of your greatest Self.

The more light you can be, the more light you can see.

Would you say you are more of a love finder or a fault finder?

You receive what you focus on.

The more you focus on people’s faults, the more you see those faults. The more they annoy you.

The more you focus on the love and light in another, you will see and feel that lightness and joy in you, and around you.

I know as I was living in the “striving world,” always comparing myself to others, I can see how I was looking for more faults – in others and myself.

Today, I am focusing more on seeing the light and divinity in others. I have made it a BIG focus of mine. I am aware of how it feels when I go negative or dark. It feels yucky. I know I am not going in the direction I want. My awareness is guiding me more and more to how I want to be. I am committed to living more in peace, joy and love. And, that means checking in with myself all day long on:

How I’m acting How I’m thinking How I’m being

You choose how you want to live.

You must know what’s most important to you, your core values that help you align with what’s true for you. Then, you keep readjusting and rearranging your life to help that happen for you all day long. Catch yourself. Forgive yourself. It’s in all the decisions you make. All Day Long.

It’s deciding things like how can you become more of a love finder rather than a fault finder.

It’s becoming aware. Questioning…

What does that look like for you? Is it becoming kinder, and more generous with your appreciation and acknowledgements of others and yourself? What is it for you?

Know where you can look to be a love finder.

Too often our thoughts are only on “love” in our partner relationship or our family. But love is what God is, what the Universe is. Life is showering you with love – if you notice and give thanks. Like your heart is beating, your body moves and your bodily systems work without you being in control, saying kind words.

It’s all working on your behalf, on how you share love or fault with it.

I know I’ve learned to focus more on loving my life, others, and even my body though it’s not always like I want.

I focus more on the direction I want to go rather than grievances about what I don’t want or don’t like. I know it matters.

How can you begin focusing more on being a love finder?

Notice what you want more in your life. If you are feeling overwhelmed, then maybe you want more calm and ease in your life. Begin there. Ask for that. How loving is that!

Remember, ask and it will be given – when you open and allow.

If you want more peace in your life, decide that is what you are committing to. Then, do simple things like saying “I choose peace instead of…” whatever you are encountering you don’t like or finding fault with. For example, in a disagreement, you don’t like where it is going. Watch how things diffuse.

Choose what’s right for you to become a love finder.

Seek love. Be love. Share love.

You are love.
