What you think matters.
You have approximately 60,000 thoughts in a day. You repeat 75% of them day after day. These thoughts become habits. Thus, how you define your life.
Think about your life.
Is your health like you want? Is your financial situation like you want? Are your relationships like you want?
If not, take some time to reflect upon the thoughts and beliefs you have about each of these situations.
Are you playing the victim or feeling empowered? Are you feeling powerless or powerful? Are you thinking limiting thoughts or abundant ones?
What movie are you playing about these areas? Could you create a new story, a new character? One who is healthy, one who is abundant – even if you don’t know how it can happen.
I have begun reading, Dr. Kim D’Eramo’s new book – Be Your Own Healer – An Intuitive Doctor’s Guide to Activating Your Innate Abilities Through MindBody Medicine.”
She reemphasizes the power of your thoughts and thinking. She shares, “When we are in higher emotional states —- such as love, joy or peace—-our health and our physiologic function benefit…impacts our cells in a positive way and positively impacts everything around else.” The opposite is also true. She goes on to say, “Let’s say someone has cancerous liver cells. Through a minor shift in their energy field, those cells can rearrange themselves into healthy, vibrant liver cells. That quantum shift between a diseased cell and a healthy cell is a subtle tweak we allow.”
The energy you are in matters. Being positive or negative matters to you and others around you.
As one of my quotes from my Louise Hay calendar says, “Do a mental housecleaning today, making room for new, positive thoughts.”
Choose to release negative and fearful thoughts. Catch yourself as you are having those type of conversations whether in your head or with others. Laugh as you do this. Make it fun, not heavy. Throw the negativity in a trashcan. Notice how quickly it fills up today, but whew, less of a burden on you.
Feel as your mind is lighter, your body is too. The more optimistic you are, the healthier you are becoming in mind, body and spirit.
Find out who you are.
As Mike Dooley says, “I’ve spent years exploring how our thoughts shape our reality and how we can create lives filled with purpose, love and abundance. In times like these, the power of our thoughts and emotions is more important than ever.”
Your thoughts matter. Spend time noticing. Don’t make yourself wrong. Just notice how often you are in fear or worry. That’s hard on your body and soul.
Ask questions like, “How could this be easy?” “What if…”
Use mantras to change the energy of how you are feeling – like “I can choose peace instead of this.” “I can choose love instead of this.” “I can choose grace, forgiveness, etc. instead of whatever negativity you are in.” Be upset, but give yourself a time period. Then move the energy. Your body will thank you. Your life will too.
Set intentions like having 2% more positive, optimistic or loving thoughts today. Be 2% more willing and open to creating a lighter, freer life so that what you desire has the space and opening to come to you.
Today, more than ever, you must be the one creating the energy and conversations in the way you want.
You have the power to use your mind in whatever way you want.
Choose thoughts and beliefs that support the life you want.
How can you begin shifting your thoughts in one of the areas of your life that is not going like you desire?
Watch the magic happen.
