The Power To Choose

I hear too many people complaining about the circumstances surrounding their lives. Most people want more peace and joy because life has become too busy, too stressful and too negative.

Note that whenever there is a gap between what you are capable of being and what you are doing at any point, you will experience discontent, anxiety and depression. Life has a way of getting your attention. Use it to get you back on course to a more loving, peaceful life.

At some point, you have to decide that you no longer want to suffer, be dragged down. You must be willing to change things so you can have the happiness and life you desire.

You have the power to create the life you want.

You have the power to choose what you focus on.

You become like the top 5 people you hang around.

What I do know is I pay attention to how I feel. I use my emotional guidance system. And, most of the time I can shift my energy to a higher vibration and get out of those negative thoughts and feelings pretty quickly. I am determined to live in peace and joy.

I know I have the power to choose again and choose a better feeling thought.

Take an inventory of what you are filling your days with. Change what you are doing if you find yourself feeling like life is negative.

Where is the discontent or frustration? Spend less time with people who drain your energy. What are you listening to – TV, radio, social media? Is it uplifting or negative? What are you reading – newspapers, books? Are these sources filling you up with peace and joy? If not, choose differently.
