It’s a new day.
You have been blessed with another day to live and enjoy
How are you thinking about what this day will bring you?
A quote on my Louise Hay calendar stated, “Every morning, I write down 10 things that I love. Then, I bring this loving energy into my day.”
It is said that everything we choose to do or have, is that we believe will bring us happiness.
Maybe use happiness as the guide for what you want to experience today. For example, what is happiness for you, being with friends, giving to others, or playing in nature?
Plan your day around happiness. Not around a checklist of getting things done.
Keep your focus on the feeling.
Abraham-Hicks shares this;
“There are no happier people on this planet than those who decide that they want something, define what they want, get hold of the feeling of it even before it’s a manifestation, and then joyously watch the unfolding as, piece by piece by piece, it begins to unfold. That’s the feeling of your hands in the clay.”
Decide what you desire to experience.
Decide what matters to you.
It’s empowering. It’s creative.
Let how you want to feel, be your guide with feelings like joy, playfulness, and lightheartedness. So then, as you go about your day, no matter what you are doing, you can experience what you love.
You still have many responsibilities and matters at hand, but how you go about them will change your world by knowing what you’d love to experience today.
You are the master of your fate, not your calendar, others, or shoulds.
This weekend on one of my walks, a friend texted me about what a beautiful morning it was – “the moon on one side and the sun on the other with beautiful clouds moving through.”
Think about how grand that walk felt to her by capturing the essence of what was around her.
Think of how much easier her walk was by focusing on beauty and wonder.
We have made life harder than it needs to be. I wonder if I could have heard any of this before. Probably not because my ego drove my life to do more, be the best, and certainly not feel.
Resistance brings contraction. Cooperation brings expansion.
But today, I encourage you to take time each morning to decide what you want to experience and notice how much lighter and brighter your world can be.
